Optimising IMS Content

Most organisations have management system content that is verbose and hard to use.

Too Many Words!

All organisations aspire to having personnel who are fundamentally competent to fulfil their roles. Your IMS should focus on "how things are done around here", rather than trying to provide a ground-up education on subject matter. Guidelines can be included in your IMS but they should only be included to support clear, succinct expectations set out in your Policies, Standards, Procedures and Specifications. With Alianna's approach every opportunity is sought for optimising IMS content, particularly reducing the size of documents.

We clarify the definitions of all aspects of your IMS content.

Our IMS Approach....

  • provides clear, distinct definitions of what Policy, Process, Procedure, Specification, Form, Guideline etc. should/shouldn't encompass;
  • aids Leadership in articulating 'Policy' and Managers in building exemplar content across the functions in the organisation;
  • fundamentally, separates the What, Why and How to ensure there is a clear purpose to each and very element in your IMS.

Our IMS Model....

  • provides clarity as to which Standards and Specifications underpin which Policies;
  • ensures Procedures only reference current, valid Forms;
  • assigns clear ownership of content;
  • supports compliance assurance and continuous improvement.
